Beotalk 1200: is it worth so much?

I have just noticed that one of these was sold for £255 on ebay (new)

I own one and I love it but what I was asking myself is if it is worth all that money. I know this is no longer produced but still a lot to spend on.

What do you think and do you remember its price when last produced?

The BeoTalk 1200 first produced in 2001 cost £165

I too could not beleive what the seller got for it. Wish I had bought as many as I could before they went out of production Wink

I sent one in to be repaired recently. It was going to cost $325 to be fixed, I told them to keep it. They originally sold for $250 then $275 before they were discontinued. Since you can't get them anymore, its probably not a bad deal.
