Just feel like sharing my delight!

My Beosound 4 has arrived during the weekends, and since I am getting BV7 with Lab 9s, I decided to move the pair of lab 6000 (which was connected to Sony Bravia) up stairs in my bedroom with the B4.

I have to say even though the set-up is text book style, it look really nice! and today I hook up an airport express to the B4 for streaming my music thru itune, the result is fantastic.

I have to admit the music sound much better thru my Lab3 in the study, but I have no complaints, I am happy today :)

Oh yeah, once I joined the lab 6000s to Beosound 4, the shutdown problem is gone, its working beautifully now!

Yeah I will post all the pictures once BV 7 arrives and all set up :)

I got red BV7-40 on table stand, with red Lab9s and red Lab4000s as rear mounted on the wall.  Its all RED, but I think it would look very good in my living room!

fingers crossed, and hope I am right..

Hey we were the same the first B&O sound we got was off ebay and it was 4000's for a 3rd of the retail price, the 6000's are undeniably beautiful.

Yeah, and it was also my very first ebay experience, the seller is all the way in Denmark too, I was worried about being scamed till the day those speakers arrived at my front door. Laughing

And speaking about ebay, just last week I saw a lab 2 for sell on Australian ebay for $3000.00 dollars brand new, and still packaged.  I am broke with my recent purchases otherwise that is a dam good bargain.

I remember David saying not too long ago that the B&O prices on eBay Australia were very good. BL6000s at half their retail price nails that fact alright!

My search for a BeoSound 1 is now streaching over to the other side of the world Cool

How did you have that hooked up?  I was thinking of dumping the piece of crap home theater system I have now, plug everything (dvd, apple tv, digital cable) into my TV and hook up a pair of BL4s or 4000s to the TVs output and just listen to everything that way.  Like this from Bose only, you know, not crap.  I'm curious if the TV's volume control is good enough to get the speakers running well.

I use 2 rca cable, one for each speaker, and connect them to the tv's variable sound output. They do a good job as extra tv speakers, as I don't have a large living room, the sound they produce fill the room easily.

But I did run into the problem of lab6000s not auto shutting down properly when the tv is switched off, so I have to manually turn off the power switch everytime.

Ah okay, I was worried that the speakers wouldn't get enough of a signal from the TV.  I guess I should just hook mine up to my TV and see what happens!

That's about 3500 euros.  Here's a pair for 3k euros but you have to go get them in Offenbach, Germany.
