    Feasability study

How feasible would it be to make the following mod to a BC9000

Remove the tape carrier, replace with the ipod dock from "say" the Phillips portable dvd player, or maybe something similar fabricated out of aluminium. Wire it up with the ridex cable etc so that the ipod charges, plays and is controlled by your B&O remote. To take it to the limit, use the cables and chips from the DLO ipod dock so you can also navigate through your ipod on your TV.

    What do you think guy’s?

Don’t think it would be easy, but is it feasible?

    Cheers Graeme

Hello I don't think it is a mission impossible, the tape deck commands could be interfaced to the IPOD using solid state relays (like Omron or similar). There could be a lot of work to do but not difficult; for example you have to simulate the paly feedback to avoid the disabling of the unit.
