    B & O as Gifts...

I was thinking... since Christmastime will be upon us in a couple of months.... what B & O have we given as gifts and to whom?

I'll start (I mentioned this in the Where are we from? thread).

I gave my parents a full set of Beocom 6000s (yellow, gray, black; 1 master base, 2 table chargers). They still use them to this day, and love them! They're a conversation piece, they tell me. Mother rules the roost, and although dad loves B & O, I think the WAF is too high to overcome for him.

I'm thinking of giving Dad my Beolab 6000s which are currently in storage as a birthday present later this year. I think he'll be very satisfied.

    P.S. Just recently I was given as a gift a B & O hockey puck eye!

Love B&O, but no longer addicted.

I must say the "hockey puck" is quite an enthusiast gift Wink The A8s are always a great gift, I have given about 6 pair to my friends already. Earset 1 was an interesting gift since it doesnt work with all phone, did that once. Gave my parents a BeoCom 2500 still sitting on their counter, time to upgrade soon though. Soon to give my girlfriend a BeoSound 6, she looked at it and gave me the puppy dog look Smile

I gave my ex girlfriend a pair of A8s for her birthday. They look pretty good with her black & aluminium ipod nano, much better in both sound quality and style than the original apple earset.

I'm still a student so I can't buy to expensive stuff as gifts yet, but I will definately give more B&O gifts in the future. It feels almost as good to give B&O as to buy it for yourself.

I don't think you can really go wrong buying someone a B&O gift whether you're spending £90 or £16,000 on the stuff. If someone doesn't like it, then I wouldn't want them to be my friend! Laughing

My presents, which have not been for me include BeoCom 4, BeoCom 6000, BeoSound 2 + A8s and an Ouverture.
