    Beo5 Icons & Logos

I have started to develop an Icon & Logo repository where members can download any of interest to them.

You can review and download them HERE

If you have any logos or Icons which may be useful to other members please e-mail them to be so they can be added.

    Regards Keith....

    Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

I would love to know this too...

I just picked up my Beo5 yesterday (yipee!!!), and I designed CD icons, but whatever the dealer used to put them onto the Beo5 they looked a bit squashed, and he said icons can only be 100*44 and not 96*96 like I used.

But then again he also refused to give me the config s/w (boo!!!), so I cant mess about, and so have to trust him.

(I have tried to attach one of the icons I used... hopefully it will work...)

    Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

    I finally received mine!!!!!!!!!

That remote is really great, and it seems to be deeply customized.

Is it possible to add the logos of the radio broadcasts that I memorised in my music system, so that the logo appears instead of the # of the preselection?

Is that possible for an internet and computer dummy like me????

    Thank you for your replies,

    cheers, Laurent.

    Hi Laurent, congrats!

of course you can put your radio station logos instead numbers or names! but the straight way for the non computer handy people is let the dealer to do the job; give him an ordered list with all your favourites channels...  that's all.

    Salutations.

    Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

Some local radio station logos are not listed in the config software.
For example, I listen to BBC Radio Lancashire which is not there.
In this case, it would be a good idea to find your stations internet site and get the logo from there. Your dealer should then be able to add it to the list.

    Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

    Thank you guys!

Will bring the remote back to my dealer. As he did not achieve the programing of the different areas of my flat yet, I'm not sure he will handle the logos of my favorite broadcasts.......

    Wait and see!!!!!

    cheers, Laurent.

    Andy,

I noted that you do not have BBC Radio Lancashire logo, well you can download it from HERE and get it added by your dealer.

There is quite a number of Irish Radio stations logos for download requested by another member (Movie)

    Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

    Hi

I am going to attempt to create the Sky Movies Logos as the ones that come with the config software are old.  Are there any guidelines?  i.e Format, size, background colours etc.

    Thanks in advance

I might be missing something here but I can't see a recommended dimension anywhere?

    Greg,

    The best size is 100 x 44

However you may wish to go back to the LOGO page again as I have just added five Sky Movies logos

They look great however, the channel names have now changed....

SKY Movies Premiere, SKY Movies Comedy,  SKY MOvies Action,  SKY MOvies Family etc.

I have downloaded all the official logos, nust need to workout how to re-size them now.  I may work in IT but my art skills are not that great!

    Greg,

I am aware that Sky have changed their names a bit and I am assuming that they are the one on teh logo page

But at 100 x 44 it does not look so good because the writting is to small.

    Regards Keith....

    Hi Keith

Thanks for your help.  I've managed to track down some better quality .bmp logos,  I have managed to invert them,  they now need cropping and sizing.  I'm on a First Aid course all day Saturday but thought I would post these in case anyone wants to take them on from here during Saturday Wink

    Otherwise I'll continue on Sunday.
