    remove the fabric of a BL6000

     Hello

    How is fixed the fabric of a beolab 6000 to the frame ?

    It's possible to change it ?

    Slide it upwards and then forwards.  Be careful though since some of the clips are plastic.

    Hello archie.

     The best idea would be to contact your local Bang & Olufsen Retailer and let him change the fabric cover.

    If you really want to do it yourself you should look at the fabric cover from the back. There are little "hinches" where the fabric is being hold in place and under tension. Pull or cut it out of there and it should come loose.

     But to be honest, I can not give you a better answer.

    I know the fabric on the BL8000s is hooked on and can be removed with some skill. But I believe the top and bottom of the fabric on the BL6000 grille are glued in place, and would require a professional's help.

    What would you like to do with the fabric? And would it be easier to buy new different color grills if you want to change the color alone?

    Your dealer can supply new frets in a range of colours.

    Most dealers have them on stock, you just have to ask. They are not that expensive.
