    BV9-can it be ISF calibrated?

    I understand that B & O calibrates the BV9 in the factory.

Presumably,it is for this reason that the User Adjustments are confined to the usual parameters-brightness,contrast,colour etc.

I was wondering if the BV9 can be ISF calibrated.

If so,has anyone carried it out?

How accurate is the factory calibration?

I am sure it can be -there is a hidden service menu which allows further calibration. Whether this is a good idea is another matter.

Re: BV9-can it be ISF calibrated?

Hi, I am thinking in the same direction, however not with a BV9, but with a BS3 and a connectec projector (JVC HD1) and a Panasonic Plasma. There are many parameters in the BS3, however with no detailed knowledge I would not change any value here. The colors and gamma is not perfect so far, I know that both HD1 and Plasma can perform much better.

So the key would be to understand the values in the BS3 and display device.

The service manual is on site but I would suggest a professional is needed to adjust the parameters.
