Is it just me or does this just appear to be some A8's Photoshopped on to a photo of the Serenata? There is no picture of Earset 3 by itself. I would really like a bit more information about it.

Have a look at B&O's Mediacenter, you get pictures of Earset 3 with the Serenata: it is just an upgraded A8 earphone set with a microphone on the wire..yet, looking at the Serenata/Earset 3 connection, I can't help wondering why B&O once again made some proprietary socket for plugging it only to Serenata (and maybe Serene), & making it incompatible with any other phone, when most manufacturers now use the standard 2.5mm jack plug..or is there once again going to be a second version of Earset 3, like the first Earset 1 Mobile was for Serene?

    Reunion Island is greeting you!

Sorry if I'm asking a silly question, but would I be able to plug a pair of normal A8s into the Serenata for music?

Do you recall the film " Minority Report " ?

Was not the actor Max von Sydow using a B&O A-8 to speak on the phone at home ?

I recall ( from memory which may be a tad faded, as I don't have the DVD ) that the A-8 prop used in the movie had a piece of conical black foam attached also to the ear piece itself. Using the wire as an antennae has worked elsewhere, even in space, so why couldn't a small vox-style microphone be added also ?

Make complete sense, and as the item platform is already in production would ( sorry, should ) cut costs. This is beginning to sound interesting.

Does this mean that the Serenata uses the same connector as the iPod/iPhone and can use the same dock?

    Hi Peter,

Does this mean that it will fit both the iPhone and Serenata - or that there will be a 2'nd version to fit the iPhone?

    /Bo.
