    BV8-32 price and info?

I've not seen much discussion on the BV8-32, although it's now available to order. Does anyone actually own a BV8-32 and are they pleased with the performance?

Also, what's the retail price on the BV8-32 in the UK? I know the BV8-26 is around £2150 inc the stand.

I'm wondering if it might be better to upgrade to a BV8-32 from my old MKI revision BV7-32, flanked by a couple of BL3's and a BL2?

Apparently it is priced at GBP 2500. That's what it is here i think.

I really love the design of the BV8, and imho it would look beautiful with BL4000's on their stands and a PV1, i don't think the BL3's would look very nice with the set.

I imagine BL9 would look absolutely FIERCE with a BV8-32!

Designwise I think it is ok; although I am not impresse (based on the smaller version) by the materials used. This gives a totally different look and feel compared to for instance a BV7.

Most important drawback is the absence of a 5.1 setup with this tv. Still can not understand why this choice has been made. I understand the cost aspect, but on the other hand if you choose B&O and want to get a DD5.1 setup this should be available as an upgrade option.

That's my thought. Essentially I only need one HDMI socket and components, so the BV8-32 might make a reasonable 'upgrade' from my old BV7-32 (I say 'upgrade' as some would say that the TV is a downgrade), flanked by BL3's or even BL9's, rather than upgrading to a BV7-40.

Financially and aesthetically it might be a wise move, but as i said, i think the BL3's would detract from the clean design and look that a BV8 will bring to your home.

    Re: BV8-32 price and info?

No, it doesn't...but for me that's not an issue (at the moment) as I have Sky HD. It's slightly criminal releasing a new 2007-model TV that doesn't ship with a DVB-T module. Spoke to my dealer since posting the above question and he stated that they've only sold 1 (!) BV8-32 since it was released. No wonder there are few replies to this thread - no-one has the TV ;)
