    I know that the BeoVision 7 can play DivX, but can it also play XviD ?

    And another thing. Can it also show subtitles (in .srt and/or .sub format) when it plays a DivX or XviD movie?

    Yup, I've had it playing XviD, as most of the stuff I download from Usenet is in that format. Never thought of trying a subtitled movie (or even a dual-audio tracked movie)

    Yes, the built-in DVD player can play Xvid as well as Divx movies. It can also play .mpg (MPEG-1 and 2) as well as most .avi files.
