Brilliant answers from a number of people - Stig, Dillen , Francoisvl and marcusm all scored in the 20s but the winner is Teddy_fr with a stunning score of 30! Incredible! I will do the random draw tomorrow once I have consulted with Lee and will let the winner know. Congratulations to all those who took part!

Congratulations to the winner, -very impressive results! If I was not so slow I would have got 14 correct answers, not bad but not so great either Thank you for putting this together! Hope we can see more of this, and that more people will enter next time.

Peter: Very pleased you all enjoyed it. Lee and I will try a new one soon! I take it that the picture quiz is better than my cryptic one! I know other competitions are planned and if anyone has a brilliant idea, approach a moderator - maybe a small prize for good ideas!
Lee's cryptic quiz was better. Peter i know you worked hard on this quiz and i thank you for that, but this quiz just wasn't for me.

Awwwwwwwwww i didn't quite crack the 20 mark I got 18/36. With number 2, i mistook the BV7 for a BV6! So close! The Blue Beolab 3 was the one i stared at the longest, i thought to myself, "i know this one!!" Very clever camera work guys. Ah i am very proud to be the only one to have guessed 32 correctly! BRAVO BRAVO! That was great fun, really, thank you so much Peter & Lee i enjoyed that more than the prize draw.

We have a slight problem there as the resolution of the pictures on the Beoworld site is simply not good enough to take small areas without them being very blurred. The quiz was clearly not an easy one - it wasn't supposed to be - but was designed as a bit of fun. There was no big prize - these are reserved for the prize draw which all gold members are in automatically. It is quite difficult to make these quizzes suit all standards - too easy and they are boring - too difficult and no-one enters. In this case, we got a better entry than any other quiz and a lot of people did very well. This would suggest that it was about right to me - the vintage collectors and the new owners both had areas of strength and weakness - there were 15 new type products, 11 vintage and 10 intermediate, which seemed a fair mix!

I'm amazed at the scores! Either people spent an inordinate amount of time working out the pictures or they are genius',(or very sad ). As I'm not a collector I found wading through 22 pages of product photos on the main site, trying to find a match,. too tedious. Having said that I didn't fair too well with the original cryptic quiz either . Lees quick fire quiz was just about right for me in terms od both difficulty and time required however I can see that this can be an issue fr some of our non-english members. Anyhoo....... thanks to Peter and Lee for taking the time and, for all you clever sorts, as Peter says - you need to get out more!

Firstly, I wanted to send my personal thank you to Peter for all the time and effort he made for us all in this BeoWorld picture quiz; I really enjoyed it! Congratulations also to all of you who got ridiculously high scores, and sincere apologies to all of you who entered for dramatically lowering our average score with my poor grade! If you plan on doing something similar again Peter, would it be possible to categorise the quiz into a certain time period. E.g. questions 1-10 1980-1990, questions 11-20 1990-2007 etc. Just my two cents.
