Hi all,

Now that I have my MPAV9000 working with the Beovision Avant, all is right with the (beo)world.... except....

Since I set up the MPAV and Avant in the same room as my Beocenter 8500, the 8500 now won't respond to any of my remotes!!! Not the 1000, or 5000, or 7000, or Beo4. Why?

I have set the 5000 and 7000 to one-way operation, but the 1000 surely does not alter. I do not understand this. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps when I adjusted the Masterlink options in the menu on the Avant, it altered a setting simultaneously (by chance) on the Beocenter 8500. Perhaps. Maybe!

Any thoughts?

Take it to another room and plug it in. Then press SOUND, 1, STORE on your Beolink 1000 when the 8500 is in Stand by.
