Re: Quiz - please enter!!
Come on you lot !
This took time to do, and a good deal of thought and effort went into it. A lot of you intimated in the last quiz that you would have entered but you weren't up to scratch with the English, and if it was a photo competition it would all be oh so different.
So - we give you a photo quiz, and less of you enter than in the text quiz. Pathetic!
PS - Sorry to rant, but a rant is due here..

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
Rant is definatly due. Why hasn't everyone entered? In the past couple of weeks there really hasn't been alot on the forums to talk about apart from the Beo5, shouldn't that have helped? I'm going to re submit my answers, i'm sure there was a few i could correct!

Had a few more entries - thanks to those people. But I agree with the sentiment 'Why doesn't everyone enter?' This is a free draw and you only need one correct! Member participation makes the moderating team feel wanted so lots more entries please! Maybe we need a signature ' I entered the Beoworld quiz!'

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
I got realy excited when i saw there was another beoworld quiz. My excitement turned to disapointment as in my opinion the person that will win this quiz, is someone of an older age who has had many years of owning and admiring B&O. OK there will be a prize go too someone just for entering, but i would only enter if i believed i could win. I think this picture quiz is far to hard for us youngsters who have only had a couple of years with B&O. Sorry to sound negative, and good luck to those that enter.

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
There has to be a mix of old and new. If you just got the new ones correct, you would actually be in the top five replies... I am afraid we cannot design a quiz to suit absolutely everyone . The older devices shown are actually the easier pictures on the whole and a little research would actually reveal quite a few answers. I am also pretty lenient with my judging so a good guess usually gets a tick! Surely part of the fun is the guessing - if people only entered quizzes that they were sure they could win, we would get very few answers. We could have simply had another lottery but I think it right to add a bit of skill into the site from time to time. I hope others will see an entry as a way of showing that they enjoy the site and appreciate the hard work put into it rather than just regarding it as getting the chance to get something for nothing. Sorry if that sounds negative.

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
Older age ... ? Well, I've had many years of collecting B&O but haven't laid hands on many post-2000 items if any at all and only few post-1990. I also shook my head at first, recognizing only a couple of things, it looked too hard but give it some thought and remember that some photos are taken very close-up. The quiz is hard, I agree, but fun none-the-less in my opinion. I have entered my best shot but honestly don't care if I win or not, the challenge alone was enough for me to participate. Take one more look at the photos. Martin

OK i do appreciate the site and will enter the quiz. I do hope there will be many more quizzes, but i stand by the thought that the winner will be someone with many years B&O experience.

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
I (for my sins) have still not entered - even though I did promise a "senior site member" I would enter today I will endeavour to enter before Friday, the only thing I would say is that this particular challenge begs a significant chunk of time to have a fair crack at it, especially if you aren't over familiar with the whole B&O range (at "nose" range too)! Who wins is largely irrelevant (says he who recognises he has little chance) - its the taking part that counts. The prizes are, rightly, nice to have but not overly valuable such that people can't feel genuinely agrieved that they are being "excluded" by the design of the quiz.

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
I too am going to post my pathetic attempt on Friday. My knowledge of products that I don't own is abyssmal but I will be looking through old catalogues and the product pages on here, franticly. Don't close it before Friday night, will you Peter? Andy T.

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
There is no reason to hesitate doing this quiz, what is there to lose?! It is fun, really. I'm only 20, but still got quite a few, and did a little research for a couple. If you don't enter the quiz, then your not cool (trying to use peer pressure... hey it worked at school lol)!

Re: Quiz - please enter!!
Very exciting Quiz but not that easy! I thought too that my knowledge of B&O was huge but I have to recognize I am still stuck on a few pictures. My poor neurones are near to the short circuit, and my head would need a tonne of aspirin, so I decided to send my answers today or tomorrow. Enter the Quiz everybody! Marc
