    BV3-32 and Topfield HDD receiver

    Hi@all,

I have connected the receiver via RGB Scart and koxial digital input. Now when the receiver starts up for records automatically, the BV starts as well as the receiver. Is there a way to deactivate this?

    Many thanks in advance!

I add the same issue with my Pioneer DVR. I had to switch some settings on the Pioneer to not let signals go over the SCART when recording (it's a switch the Pioneer has), and this solved the problem.

May be a similar option is even on your receiver.

    thanks.

Does anybody know which scart connector on the backside supports RGB in combination with digital sound input of the DTS module?

Or does this depend on the software settings under the menue-->connections-->Decoder, V.Tape or DVD, etc.?

    About the digital inputs.

The first input goes with the AV scart and the second digital one goes with the Decoder scart.

How did you solve the connection between the digital output from the topfield and the input from the BV-3?

Both the Vtape and AV scart supports RGB.

There exists a powered adapter to convert Toslink into coaxial signal. Have a look on Ebay!
