    Beocenter 2300 not playing CD's

    Hi

     

    I have a 7 year old 2300 that has never let me down before.... however just recently... instead of playing a CD..... the disc spins for a few seconds then stop.

     

    Any ideas???

    Try cleaning the laser lens with a cotton wool bud or similar either dry or damped in iso propyl alcohol. It may be dusty or covered in a greasy deposit.

    HI,

    if the display shows arrows e.g. like this <> when the CD stops the drive is broken. My parents had the same with there BeoSystem 2500.

    Your dealer is able to help you, matter of expense circa 300EUR.
