    Beolink 5000

Does anyone know whether it is possible to replace the thin foil connecting the LCD with the PCB. I suspect several wires has broken inside the foil, because there are a number of rows and columns not working in the display and not just individual pixels. I went to a repair shop and they told me that it is no longer possible to get spares for this remote control, so if it was possible to simply replace the foil, that would be great. The wires probably broke when the display fell out of the frame, because of aging glue.

     Regards

    Best regards

    Henrik

Try your dealer, they should still be able to order a complete new unit as a Spare part.  Even though they are not listed in the current product range.  I had to do this a few years ago when mine failed.

    good luck
