Concerning the Beomaster 800 on Lauritz.com

Hello all the lovers of B&O vintage products!

    I would like to warn you about the lot number: 1078388 currently on Lauritz.com;

The photos that describe it are in fact those of mine I bought a year ago!

I have recognized the 2 dots of white painting (photo 3) that I have easily removed and the dark spot on the teak veneer, not palisander (photo 1). Except this it is in great condition.

It would be prudent to ask them the real photos, many BM800 suffer from scratches and dents particularly on the speakers grilles.

Otherwise it’s a wonderful and rare B&O vintage masterpiece and a real pleasure to use in whatever place of your house.

Not my cup of tea for an auction house and one of the reasons I've recommended potential bidders to visit the showroom and do a visual check of everything before bidding. I live near Lauritz in Herlev and will be happy to drive by.

    Thanks for the warning.

Its best to see the items upclose before bidding/buying the stuff.

There is always a risk and that goes for all auctions.

If there is a mistake in the listnings then point it out to Lauritz.com

Once they had a Beomaster 6000 described as Beomaster 8000 though the photos clearly showed otherwise.

I have sent an email to Lauritz Helsingør auction house but no answer yet and no new photos.
    Let’s wait and see! Hmm

    Lauritz Helsingør answered me.

There are new and real photos

for the Beomaster! (except 3 and 6)

The thumbnails still show the old photos but in full size

    there are the true ones.

This Beomaster 800 looks great too and is worth a bid.

Good luck to every B&O vintage product lover! Wink

They have updated all the photos and now all is O.K.

The palisander (rosewood) finish is really beautiful and its condition more than correct.

However no bid for me this month, I had my brakes just remade and I have my catalytic converter to be replaced on my car. Ick!

I hope the happy bidder /winner will be a Beoworld fellow, if so please let us know.
