No displays and they are popping and hissing when I first switch them on, after 2 minutes the speakers stop popping and hissing and they are fine. Any ideas?

 Also the displays have stoppped working. Any ideas?

What do you have them hooked up to, and with what cables?

BC9500. They've been fine for months, the displays failed around 6 months ago but the popping noise had been happening for a couple of months, but only when I first switch them on.

And both of them show this effect?

I need to check but I think its only the one that makes the popping/hissing noise.

My MKI's don't hiss, but they do exhibit some popping or clicking for the first few minutes that they're on. I had chalked it up to perhaps thermal expansion of the heat sinks rubbing against the plastic case, but in truth the amplifiers probably need servicing.

The displays are more curious, especially since both failed at once. Assuming you're not daisy-chaining, try switching the two SpeakerLink cables at the back of the 9500? (so that left and right are temporarily reversed.) Ridax is the real expert on these displays.
