    Switching off Beovision 3

    I have a Beovision 3 with STB-C controlling a Sky+ Box.

Does anyone know a way of switching off the tv via Beo4 without also putting the Sky+ box into standby?

    Thanks in advance.

On a BV7, when you go to the connection menu, and you can say wether the STB needs to be turned off.

If you turn it off using the On/Off button. It will leave the STB on.

I had my Avant updated to fix this problem. Now I can chose to turn STB off, NEVER, AFTER 30 MINS, or ALWAYS

    Hi everyone.

Is there , or does anyone recommend a specific set top box to use with the BV3...............other than sky!?.

Some of them are a strange shape and i can't see the sticky sensor working properly!

Thanks Keith for the response. I think you are may be correct that a software update may be needed.

It's not a great problem, just an inconvenience. I thought there may be a combination of buttons to press on the beo4 which might achieve my objective, but clearly not!

I have SKY+ and have no problems with the sensor. I think SKY+ is great and would highly recommend it.
