    MCL cable/connectors for Beomaster 5500

    Hi,

I want to use a Beolab 3500 as a link room speaker.

Where do I find a cable or connectors to connect it to the beomaster 5500?

I think it should be something like two speaker plugs with an extra pin each.

    Best regards Peter

You can connect your MCL enabled Beolab 3500 to your Beomaster 5500 using the cables shown below.

They are two speaker type plugs each with an extra pin and on the other end a din plug which goes into the Beolab 3500

    MCL Cable

    Thank You!

Is that B&O part numbers? Does that mean that I can still order them from my dealer?

What site did you get the picture from? An internal B&O site?

The numbers quoted are B&O part numbers and they can still be obtained through B&O dealers

    Thank You

I will call my dealer today.

Out of curiousity. Where did you find the information? It looks like a web-screenshot

    Hej Peter!

You can only use old BL3500. Since a year or so they only have masterlink inputs. If you have a new one you will need a ML/MCL converter.

    Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1

    Hej Daniel,

I didn't know that. Fortunatelly my BL3500 is quite old. (Mid 90's)

If you have an LCS9000 or any Beolab 3500 prior to the introduction of Beolink Wireless 1, then it would have a Masterlink socket AND a Master Link Control socket. You can see a full overview in the FAQ on the subject HERE
