I checked the versions of the mini, but the graphic card is the same on the newer and older Minis.
This link gives the specs of the older mini (early 2006):
http://support.apple.com/specs/macmini/Mac_mini_Early_2006.html
So, older or newer mini, the specs are the same...
Very interesting point, depending on the cable used the resolution is not the same :
DVI : 1980 x 1200
VGA : 1980 x 1080
I tried to plug the mini directly on my videoprojector (with DVI), and i managed to get a 1980 x 1200 resolution... but interlaced (a bit shaking). The name given in the resolution list is : 1980 x 1200 (interlaced)
The problem with BS3, there is no DVI video input (as far as I know)... and the maximum VGA resolution given from the mac is 1980 x 1080 and that is not supported by the BS3...
So i guess, the max resolution with a mini through BS3 is 1360 x 768... too bad... especially when BluRay will come to Macs...
