Help - Beo4 lost row of pixels

My Beo4 lost row of pixels right in the middle.

Is there a way of fixing this?

    Thank you!

Seems to be a common fault - I've had two of mine repaired, even though out of warranty,my dealer arranged these free of charge.  Just replaced the screens.

The only way is to replace the screen. The kit costs around £20 in the UK

    Are they easy to replace?

Relatively! Requires a bit of patience and few tools. Instructions are provided.

If you do one Craig, don't touch the little zebra contact with your fingers, use tweezers.

Where can I get the instruction?

Also I have BeoLink 5000 with exact same problem.
Assume it also requires screen replacement - any idea if part is still available?

    Thanks!

The kit includes basic instructions for fitting,

The display on th 5000 cannot easily be replaced so best to live with it. This has always been the problem with the BL5000 and why their second hand value is so poor. Most have pixels missing and their is no cure as far as I know.

Not in my experience. So far, every one has been fixed by the new display. Maybe I've just been lucky!
