    its that old RIAA question..again

    hello everyone

    is it true, that only the gram 3500,4500,6500, and 7000 have built in amps.......i have an ouverture and just wondered if there was anything else that would do, i could go and by an amp obviously, but want a neat solution

    and if its only these....anyone got one for sale )

    As mentioned in this FAQ response the Beogram 6000 Quad will also do the job with its lovely retro design! Smile

    The BG6000 quad in good nick pretty good. Its a heavier deck and I think has a better sound when connected to a BS9000.

    You did miss the 1200 series. You would be surprised how a good one sounds. A few (probably rare now) versions have a slot for an RIAA which B&O supplied as an option. A version of the 1203 and the 1202 have this available. I know I have a spare B&O pre-amp... I also trashed an old 1202 for a pre-amp... Ebay may be helpful.
