What's worse is Grundig took the credit and received plenty of praise for it's "different" design.
Even by looking at the picture, you can see that it was a pretty cheap and nasty design using cheap plastics.
I remember that when i first showed my partner a picture of the Avant, he said, "what's a Grundig tv doing with all that B&O gear?" lol The picture quality of his aunties Xentia is actually very good for the price however and Grundig used to be a very highly regarded electronics brand.
