    lol, thanks for that...

When my BV7-40 arrived, it the box just about scraped through the door, but the thought of carrying it up 3 flights of stairs put me off. So I had it unpacked in the middle of the street, well it gave the neighbours something to talk about for a while.

Good job I never bought that thing Wink

    njoy.

When my girlfriend saw the big BV9-box - she told me to tell you that you now have a big box to place all the other Beo-boxes in.

That will give your wife more place for her stuff.

A pretty good idea, don´t you think?

Do you know if he use B&O Service Tools with PC?

In my BV9 menu I can only choose Unknown, DVD1, BC2. And DVD2 is not there!!!!

My dealer put the in the "puk" ( beosystem 3 )

Not all devices are in the beosystem, you must say your dealer which one you need.

    I have in my beosystem 3 :

    - Premiere Humax
    - Panasonic Blu-ray
    - Apple TV

All devices are full controlled with the beo 4 - and i hope in one week or so with the beo 5

I get my TV for the bedroom in 2 weeks - so i can not answer it.

But i know you must use HDMI and Scart for the Panasonic - HDMI for for the BV9 and Scart for the Link TV...

You must check out Apple Tv with BV 9 - really great...

Thats sounds good. I have no DVD so I thinking on DVD2 or Sony/Panny/PS3 as Blueray DVD. PS3 can not be pilot using Beo4Sad

So I dont know right now but a Sony BDP-S1P is tempting

If you use let´s say HDMI A input for Panny, wich AV do you use with Scart to handle Link?

Do you think time has already come to chose between BlueRay and HDDDV?

For me, it seems to be to early to make that choice, I'd wait at least 2 more years. IMO, DVD still is the best option for the moment. I would not spend the money for a B&O DVD2, but as BC2 is a music center too, it would consider it, if I was in the situation. Otherwise, I would go for some standart DVD (Pioneer) and wait and see...

Yeah Blueray is big and not so expensive so I can swap later on if it turns another way

    And I have BS9000 so I dont want BC2 (I had it)

    anders(son),

    Awesome ! very nice setup.

cool "doublewall" I assume, you have done for the 9000.

just needs the BL 5's to make the sounds as nice as the picture....! I had the BL2, but never got anywhere near what those R2D2's can do !

Suggestion for DVD.....get the PS3 instead.....just got mine yesterday. Is not B&O but does the job VERY WELL....

Re Blu-ray-- please correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding that none of the currently available players are compatible with the new BD Forum Protocol(1.1?) which comes into effect next month. As I understand it,all players sold after October must accord with the Protocol. It remains to be seen whether the current machines can be made compatible by way of a firmware update,or whether manufacturers will, like Sony, discontinue their current players.

That's exactly why B&O waits so long before releasing products with new technology!

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.
