    BEOCENTER 2200 (1985) CD INPUT?

    We already own a Beomaster 1000 from 1970 and have now inherited a 1985 Beocenter 2200. With some connections from Tottenham Court Road, I managed to attach a Sony CD player to the 1000. Is it possible to do that to the 2200? Advice appreciated.

    Hi Kernowhoop.  I have a 2200.  You can connect a CD player by buying a 5 DIN plug to RCA lead.  I got a lead from ebay for a few dollars.  You plug this in the front on the beocentre to the tape copy plug.  Then press the tape button on the top to hear the CD.  It works fine.
