    Link-room: BL6000 vs. CX100(+Cona?)

As I am working on setting up a link-room (dining room, easy listening), I wonder what would be the better solution:

     a. BL6000 + Beolink Active
     b. CX100 + Beolink Passive (+Cona?)

    What would you prefer?

If you have the floor space and ac-power available I would go with the 6000's. Personally I am not very fond of the audio quality of the Cona. Originally mine was purchased to enable usage of BV3000's as main speakers for BS6500. IMO CX100's are nice speakers, especially for easy listening cases.

You're kidding dude?! I love my Cona! Fantastic sound. Huge, but not over-obvious.

    Re: Link-room: BL6000 vs. CX100(+Cona?)

Be aware that the Cona is huge, and needs a lot of space.

I would go for whatever fits your room best, as the sound isn't that importaint.

    Living room: BV7-40 mkIV + V8000, BL5, BL3, BM1 and BS9000. Bedroom: MX3000 and BL4500 on MCL2-AV. Around: PentaIII, CX100 and MCX35 on ML/MCL + MCL2-A, BeoPort and BL4 on ML, BS3300 + M75 as stand alone, BC6000 + BC600 and BT1100, LC1, LC2, Beo4, Beo5 and BL1000, BS2 and A8, EarSet2, Apron, Coffee mugs, Enamel Bagdes, Bath towel, Keyring, Books, Lots of miniature and the Bottle opener. Office: BC2300 + BL2500 and BS3. Summer house: BS Century.

    Addicted? Oh no.... ;)

    Re: Link-room: BL6000 vs. CX100(+Cona?)

    I've heard both.

The BL6000 solution is better with a more detailed sound for a quiet music listening room or dining room.

The CX100s + Cona go well for a more rumpas room or area.

Same way as I heard them.
