The stupid scroll ball doesn't work again

Unplug the mouse, turn it upside down and rub the scroll ball very hard and very quickly with the heel of the palm of your hand. I am yet to come across a Mighty Mouse that I have been unable to fix with tha. Also if the ball appears to be dirty rub it with an alcohol wipe.

Try fit some tape inside out on your finger, turn the mouse upside down and then scroll the mouse with the sticky side of the tape. Works well for me

I actually lick mine, turn it upside down and rub it frantically on the top of my jeans. Always works..

I do hope people look at the title of the thread before making assumptions!

I followed instruction on the net how to take it apart and clean it. I am now a fully qualified surgeon after performing said operation. (I do not recommend anyone else tries it)

Quite often we would like to use stronger words but hey! we can get the same point across with asterisks.
How many times have new members commented on what nice people we are?
I know it's annoying when we get moderated for something completely innocent like the noise a cockerel makes or a visit to Essax or Chorlton-com-Hardy but I think it's well worth it to keep Beoworld what it is.
