    BS9000 "Clean required" message help.....

    Hi

    I've got a message on my BS9000 which reads "Clean required" on the text field, any idea what needs to be cleaned and how (theres nothing in the user manal that I can see).

    Either you are shining a bright light on the unit or the finger sensors need cleaning. That's the small clear triangular things that stick out, one each end of the CD deck. They are probably dusty, especially if you use the 9000 in a floor stand.

    cleaning the finger sensors just fixed my "clean required" message!
