    BeoVision Avant 28 + BeoLab 3

    Hi,

I've bought myself an Avant 28 DVD RF with Dolby. And I love it. In my opinion the Avant is the best TV ever made!! But I want to connect my BeoLab 3s to the Avant. But if I choose Speaker Type in the Sound Setup on the Avant, the only speakers I can choose from, are as following: BeoLab 4000, 6000, 8000, Penta and 1. So my question is, which of these speakers are the most equivalent to the BeoLab 3? I want the best sound possible, of courseSmile

Hope I can get some help...

The recommendation from BeoCare is BeoLab 4000.

I would go for BL 8000 because the BL3 is between the BL6000 and BL8000.

Acttually, it is between the BL4k and the BL8k - from an accoustic point of view the BL6k is a step down from the BL4k. Pulled up the setup info for the BL3 with that Avant, and it said BL4k, too. But you can allways try various settings, and see if the tv use the correct bass settings.

    Re: BeoVision Avant 28 + BeoLab 3

Now I´ve used some days trying out the different speaker types. And I reckon the BeoLab 4000-setting gives the best sound in the BeoLab 3s... Even though the differences between all the speaker types are very small... to my ears. The BeoLab 4000-setting is slightly better though.

     Thanks for the help!
