    Beoport - Some questions...........

Just installed Beoport, but have a few questions about it's operation. My setup and option settings are as follows.

    BS3000 - Option 0

    BV32-2 - Option 2

    BeoPort - Option 0

All 3 are in the same room and connected by Masterlink. There are no speakers other than those of the BV3.

        My questions/problems are...

    1) When in N.Music should I be able to control BeoPort from the BS3000? At the moment I cannot, although it works fine by remote.

    2) The on screen Volume control now does absolutely nothing. Is this correct?

    3) If I select N.Music on the PC the BS3000 comes on, displays N.Music but the BV3 stays in stand-by.

    4) Last problem is I have no N.Radio at all.

    Re: Beoport - Some questions...........

    Craig,

Let me answer the easy questions first:-

    2) The volume control on the PC screen only controls the volume of the powerlink speakers connected directly to the Beoport, so as you apparently do not have any speakers connected to the Beoport, then nothing will happen other than the volume numbers change on the computer screen.

    4) I am assuming your PC is connected to the Internet and you registered as part of the Beoport installation ?

    1) You can only change tracks from the Beo4, but not from the BS3000 itself.

    3) This is correct because the BS3000 is your audio master

    Re: Beoport - Some questions...........

Thanks for the quick replies. So now I only have the problem with N.Radio not working. Not sure why but the registration screen did not appear.

Not sure why this was or how to resolve it. As for the correct Option setting, I thought option 6 was for Link Rooms?

Option 0 is if your Beoport acts as an audio master... here there is already an audiomaster.

    Craig,

If you did not register, then N.Radio will not work correctly. It is difficult to say why the registration prompt did not come up.

I suggest you may wish to go into c:\Program Files\Beoport\Beonetradio.exe double click on it and see if the N.Radio then comes up and/or the registration prompt

    Regards Keith....

Well it is all now working O.K. Had to remove the install the Software again. Second time round I got the registration screen come up. Not sure what happened the first time.
