Balanced audio signal ML to drive power AMP.

Has anybody tried use the balanced audio signal on the ML cable to drive a set of balanced power amplifiers ?

    Thanks

Whilst I have not used the balanced audio from the Masterlink cable to a third party product, it will work PROVIDED

    1. The balanced impedance of the input receiver is 2.2 Mega Ohms
    2. The receiving power amplifier preamp can accept an audio signal of no more than +1 to -1 volt peak to peak

I am not sure why you would wish to do this and if your input preamp does not correctly match the impedance of the Masterlink, then sound quality will be effected in other products on the Masterlink.

In my view, this is not something you should consider unless you fully understand about impedance matching.

    Regards Keith....
