RL 45.2 Speakers - general question

    Hi to all

I'm a new member to the forum and have a couple of questions relating to the RL45.2 flat panel speakers.

    1) Should the speakers have Red bands on the front?  If so are they painted or are they some form of separate band?  A general trawl of stuff on ebay is inconclusive as most pictures show either grey bands (is this due to missing separate bands?)

     2) When new was the fabric colour black or grey?

    3) Is it possible to get replacement covers, if so are they costly?

Any assistance in helping me with these issues will i'm sure help me make a sound purchase in due course.

If anyone has any for sale feel free to email me as well

    Regards

Re: RL 45.2 Speakers - general question

    Welcome to Beoworld! Smile

    1) I have seen speakers eith ad with out. It is a seperate rubber band, and have no use except for design - hence the name.

    2) Dark gray mostly, but was availble in white also. The laser Beovox RL 2000 which replaced the 45.2 was available in black and white, but not gray.

    3) Not from  B&O - i assume.

    Regards

    Christian

Re: RL 45.2 Speakers - general question

Thanks for the welcome and of course the reply, that was helpful.

I reckon these speakers will be ideal for what I want but didn't want anything that was cosmetically poor or incorrect spec.

    Cheers
