I am expecting (and hoping for) a big push in the home automation domain. We were given a big hint during the Struer trip. The Beo5 has a special key dedicated to setting the scene around the AV system. This is just the start. p.

I think you have to wait few weeks, they will release the year end financials in August (around 3rd week), that gives an outlook.
I hope a small TV for the US. BV7 32 and BC6 26. Something like that. A new soundsystem would be nice, but I doubt that. I would be very happpy with the BC2 but if they release the BV7 32 here I wouldnt need it. My Dream system is still the BC6/BC2/BL3/BL2 combined with a projector.

>>a lot of speculation was made about new products. Drawings, rumours etc<<
I think this might have to do with the fact that the product portfolio is well rounded right now. They just need to update the existing stuff, i.e. HDMI connections, plasma and lcd panels etc.
The high end sound system is missing, however I don't think anyone expects this anytime soon.
Adding a new phone or MP3 player probably doesnt get too many people exited.
Personally I want the small TV for the US real bad. I also want the BC2 but hold back until this is sorted.

A better sound system, something to complement the sound quality of BL5 & BL 9. A system with player capable of DVD, SACD, CD, ...but no HD stuff. It is too soon to guest how all of that is going to play out.

Normally they only announces new products. They are doing it in conjunction with the financial statement.

On my wishlist for new products, I'd love: - a BeoSound 5, the high-end sound system with digital sources, digital connections, a large sensitive screen to navigate in the menus; - a BeoLab 6, a combination of BeoLab 6000 and 8000 in terms of design, with powerful ICE amps (think vertical BeoLab 7-1!); - a BeoVision 2, based on BeoCenter 6 without any built-in sources but TV (so that people can go back to prices close to the MX range); - a new BeoCom 5 that would integrate a DECT phone with skype and a remote control (after all, phones & remotes share the same components & shape);
- a BeoMedia 2 with built-in sources, i.e only a DVD writer would allow direct copy of DVDs & CDs on the hard-drive, a front USB-socket to connect SD cards or your digital camera, a modern HDMI output & much more extended features please! - a true BeoLink wireless speaker, based on BeoSound 3 with a built-in wireless receiver, no sources of course, but an infra-red sensor & still a control panel on top of it.This would be a more logical concept of BeoLink than this static BeoVox 1

The BeoCenter 6-26 comes without any sources by default, you then choose either radio or a DVB module to add on.
I can't see them releasing a new speaker either to be honest, unless they discontinue something else. There are already more different speakers in the range than there have ever been (bar the 70s, but a lot of those speakers were very very similar).
I'm not going to predict what we'll see, but I'll say what I'd personally like to see. The BeoLab 5s need a source which can really deliver what is normally expected of high-end CD players, as well as a very high quality radio and a few more audio inputs, more in line with other hi-end systems.
I'd also like to see an LC3 or something similar, the simplicity of the LC2 was really fantastic, and usually gave good results.
I'd also like to see an audio switcher, a bit like the AV Expanders, but for the audio systems. That's just dreaming though!

Isn't the BV8 the "MX" price range tv with nothing built-in? I'm adoring the range the way it is now, apart from the lack of BV6 not being avail in 32" and a lack of sources to compliment the BL5

If I take the latest price list in France, the MX 4200 was sold at EUR 1,665. Considering screen size, the small BeoCenter 6-23 is priced at EUR 3,530, while -considering price- BV8-26 goes "down" to EUR 3,000. It's still twice more expensive than what people were paying a few years ago to enter B&O's TV world...
