    Beoplayer!

Hi i know this post should be in the general forum, but i really want to know an answer to this, as do all MAC owners! Will there ever be Beo software for mac? I really loved beoplayer when i had a pc, and it would just be fabulous if B&O were going to create a program for mac! Cheers for any replies, has anyone heard anything down the grapevine?

Beoplayer is nothing but a "wrapper" or GUI that uses Windows Media Player - so no. There wont be a Mac version.

You can use BMLink from here to control your BeoPort though: http://www.odlund.se/bmlink/

...also I dont see why one would want BeoPlayer - as it really isnt any good IMO.

That is your opinion, i found that beoplayer is REALLY nice to use. Very classy interface. iTunes, to me - is horrible. It's crude & sterile - like fluorescent lighting.

Must confess that when I changed from PC to Mac, moving across to iTunes from beoplayer was marvelous! Couldn't bear Beoplayer though I did like the B&O style design. BM-Link is superb - thanks Anders!

If you have an Intel Mac, you can run Beoplayer through Bootcamp though, can't you?

BeoPlayer doesn't work under CrossOver, but I imagine it'll run under Paralells fine.
