    AUX 3 on LX2500

    Hi,

I have a LX2500, and want to use the AUX 3 A/V input, so I have found a DIN plug that fits. But before I find the solder iron I have some questions:

    • I have attached the picture from the LX2505 manual: is the picture from the solder side? And is it the same as the LX2500?

    • Is it right that it works like an output, until it gets 12v? If that's right; where should I connect the negative wire? Pin 3?

    Thank youSmile

Greetings.Your 6 pin Din plug should have the pins numbered as per the drawing, but if not,the drawing is shown from the solder side.

Yes,the socket is in output mode without the "steering" 12v level present.Ground via pin 3  or the case of the plug.

Manual selection of AUX3 is via SHIFT-TV-3 (Beolink 1000)

    Nick
