    Gold account...problems

    Hi again guys...

     I'm going to this page...  http://www.beoworld.org/what.asp

     

    Then going down to "create a gold account"...but it just take 10 minutes and never loads....again ive got T1 line so it's not a speed issue.... Help....

    Hi Mecca

    As explained in the PM to you: 

    You cannot create a new gold account whilst being logged in as a bronze member. You can only upgrade to gold or silver. If you go to the following page Upgrade/Renew membership whilst being logged in you can then upgrade to gold or silver.

    If you want to create a new account all together please log out of your bronze account (mecca) and then create a new account from scratch. Remember you cannot use the same details as before (email address, username etc). This stops duplication and also helps us prevent spamming.

    Van..I only want to change my screen name...that's all...can I do that in this account then go join Gold??

    Hi Moderaters....I went to the above link to renew...clicked renew...and it did the same thing...10 minutes of loading and it just stops....my computer does not lock up....it just does not load...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Mecca

    If you would like to change your screen name (display name) from MECCA to something else follow the instructions on the following page: http://www.beoworld.org/faq_view.asp?id=84 

    This will change your display name only.

    If you would like to upgrade your account go to the following page UPGRADE/RENEW and select "silver or gold" from the drop down menu available half way down the page. I think the reason the page is stalling is because you are not selecting the upgrade of silver or gold from the drop down. Please try again. 

    I have tested the system all afternoon and I cannot find a fault with it.

    Alternatively please send me your password via PM and I will test it myself.

    MAC or PC will only affect minor elements on the forum. The main BeoWorld site has been tested across both platforms and works without any problems with regards the upgrade and secure online payment system. I have made some tests this afternoon and cannot find any problems with the payment or upgrade system.

    Mecca, could I please ask you to send me your details via PM and I will try and sort the problem out for you as best I can.

    Hi Mecca

    I have received and replied to your PM. I have logged in using your details and managed to follow the upgrade process ok. I can only think it may be a firewall which may be affecting your attempt. I have sent you a PM explaining the process. If you could advise me at what stage the error is occurring and what the error message is.

    Don't worry we will get you upgraded one way or another. I'm only sorry you are experiencing some problems.
