Your question in my view is a very good one, because most people think Bluetooth is a standard so should work with any other bluetooth enable device like the Earsat2, but this is not totally true.
Currently there are three bluetooth standards being version 1.1, 1.2 and version 2 and the earsat2 only supports the first two currently, but I guess there may be a software upgrade for the Earsat2 in the future. Oh, and before someone asks the question, yes you can update the software in an Earsat2. So, will it work with a MacBook Pro, I would say yes it will. With regards to the Playstation 3 I do not know because I know nothing about gaming systems, but as it is made by Sony I would expect there should not be a problem.
The type numbers for the Earsat2 in Japan are exactly the same as in North America, so I expect you would actually get your best price in the US which depending where you buy it will be around $350 to $450
