    BeoLab 6000 connectivity question

    Hello all,

I have a question relating to my 6000s and connecting them to non-B&O equipment.

Currently I have them connected to my MX4000 via powerlink and everything is fine. However, I am looking to buy a new non-B&O LCD TV and am unsure of how to connect the 6000s.

Many years ago I bought some B&O phono line signal reducers so I could connect the 6000s to a standard amp but never used them. Would this still be the best way of connecting them? (assuming the TV has standard phono audio outputs) or is there a better way of setting it all up?

     Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Hi Dave,

You can use standard rca leads to connect the 6000's to anything with a volume controlled line level output. They should switch on when they receive a signal and off when the signal has ceased for about 3 minutes.
