I'm just wondering: are there any women posting on the BeoWorld forum? Marcel

Well, i can say we have had quite an influx of female Gold Members joining lately! Wether it's wives of male members hoping to nab a Prize in the Draw, or genuinely interested ladies, i don't know.
I do remember in the old forum there was quite an active female poster. I miss her being around actually - she always had some good opinions! Lee

The only two I know of are Kevin's wife & Craig's better half. Not sure of their user names or frequency of posting. Being women they will no doubt be sitting there gleaning information to use on us blokes in the future - oh... er... hum... personally I think they are completely wonderful and won't have a bad word said against either of these remarkable examples of womanhood Chris.

If it matters, I recently joined BeoWorld, and I'm quite sure I'm a woman! Being an audio engineer though, I'm accustomed to being one of the only females in the room (if not the only). Darn, now my cover is blown...
Best to you all, Aj

You're the first female audio engineer I've ever come across in a field I'm looking of moving into. Is it something you personally enjoy doing?
And good luck with the baby!

ArgyleMoss: Hi joynsyde, By the look of your avatar i guess you are pregnant? How long you got to go? We are due our second any day now. Mark.
Mark-- Yes, I let my girlish excitement get the best of me when I chose my avatar. We are due October 28, so we have about 3-1/2 more months! It's our first baby, and we aren't sure we're truly ready, but... who is? We're excited! Congratulations on your baby! Will you faint in the birth room?
Alex-- I just adore almost everything about audio engineering. I used to work at a recording studio in Las Vegas, but the track I was on was waylaid by some complex life circumstances. I had to move home to Kansas City and kind of had to start all over. Right now I have a "day job," and it's a job I enjoy, but eventually I plan to start my own recording business. I hope to focus on classical music, though I like to record popular styles of music too. The "big music industry" side of things turns me off, which is why I'm planning to start my own business and work for private clients. But if I can figure out a way to work for a big fancy studio without selling my soul, I might do it, because having all those big toys at my disposal is simply beautiful. Meanwhile I'm trying to keep my ears sharp and my knowledge up-to-date. And trying to build up my savings account for the initial investment into entrepreneurship! PM me with any more questions, if you'd like. Bonne chance! AJ

Alex: 9 LEE: You've not seen Puncher then??
So old he's got plants growing out his mouth?
Nope - it's actually the shaft of an arrow. Someone fired it at him, so he caught it in his mouth and is doing a celebratory 'wink' for the camera. He's Northern, and hard.

"Are there any women here today?" "Who threw that stone: "She did.." This topic is like a Monty Python Film (clip). or a Little Britain sketch (clip)

Luckily this was taken in the afternoon - I looked rough when I first got out of bed! (still not as rough as jandyt though and without the projectile vomiting)
