Can a beovox cona be used through other amplifiers other than bang and olufsen being that its passive. For example is it possible to wire it to an amp and the the cona wired to two cx100.

Yes. You connect the Cona to any normal passive amp and then connect the speakers to the Cona. The Cona has a crossover inside and sends the higher frequencies to the smaller speakers. Connection to the Cona from both the amp powering it and to the other speakers is by binding posts underneath. I had one for several years with some CX50s and then later for a bit of a laugh with my Beomaster 8000 and some Beovox Pentas!

Eh? It's just a normal speaker output from an amp!
