    beovision 12 on my wall

So this week I went to a local danish dealer to pick up a pair of BL3 to replace my BL8000s as rear speakers. As it turned out I also ended up with a beovision 12 on my wall!

I must say this is a truly beautiful tv. Compared to my 7-40 it is paper thin and I really like the extra inches.

The lighting in my living room is less than ideal for photographing but I added a picture of these latest additions to my B&O collection. I hope I will be able to add better pictures and a review soon.

Really looks like an actual paper-thin-poster of a Beovision 12... Your dealer may have fooled you!! Try to get another picture on the screen than this catalogue picture : if it doesn't react to Beo4/6, it must be paper! Cool

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I don't think the room lighting is your problem. What is that setup about? Aside from the box (why??), what a ridiculous place for a lamp. And, what I presume are speakers adjacent to each other. Do you know anything about sound distribution?

Finally, and this is I acknowledge a personal opinion, the TV is too high.

Envious of the TV though Yes - thumbs up suggest that you give it to me. I will make a contribution towards shipping costs and post a picture when installed.

You are right Kokomo. I had my share of fun with the TV, so I'd be happy to let you have it. That is of course only if you pay for the transportation from Denmark to Spain. I just checked the Danish Postal and it could easily cost you 20-25 euro to have it delivered to your house. So you might want to reconsider that.

Besides I had an accident with the TV later last night. Though it did suffer some minor cosmetic damage the picture quality is still stunning.

now I can see your problme !

it's the purple cow hiding inside the cupboard

clearly it was jealous that you were spending too much time watching the dancers on the Beovision

    ...

Actually, there is a MUCH bigger problem than the purple mo-cow.......

loooks like u may have a  dreaded "black-hole" exactly where you placed ur TV.... i think ur Tv  passed through and back when u were in bed asleep ....that accounts for the awful warping.....and sadly, I dont think ur warranty will cover 'black-hole' accidents....((for a deeper understanding of ur problem read Prof. Hawkings 'A Brief History of Time')) :)

Next time,  dont put ur brand new TV over a black hole!
