Got a Beolit 600 where the previous owner made a internal wire connection to a power adapter.

Is there something missing inside cause I can't find out where to put the batteries in

The battery compartiment should be placed around the metal pins on the right. So the battery compartiment is missing, sadly......

sorry I can't help better but it must have been something similar to my old Blaupunkt Derby:

It is meant for 6 "mono" cells (I think they are called "D-cell" internationally).

Compartment looks about the same size. Maybe Sören can step DIY in here...

BTW, this box needs some cleaning - just had it out of my memory shelf...

Got a Beo 610 which has the same battery pack as Blackrix (the funny guy from Holland) told me... Let's see if I can make a copy...

The problem with these batterypacks is that if the batteries start leaking the contacts can be damaged. Because of that a lot of batterypacks in these BeoLit's did not survive. So it might be hard to get a hold of one. But I have found out that wanting something fast and badly makes it expensive or gives you a headache, because you can't find it. Mostly if you give it time it will suddenly be there where you least expect it.
