    Beogram 1602 INFO

Would like some info on the Beogram 1602 turntable & where it ranks among the B&G line. Also would love to know how much it cost brand new back in the day. Just picked one up in near mint condition for $15. It sounds amazing & still has original catridge & stylus in excellent condition.I know from a little research the cartridge is worth a good bit. Thanks, peace...

    Re: Beogram 1602 INFO

I think the BG 1600 and 1602, was made for US market, only found this about it, a $ 15 turntable that works is a hit anyway it comes, and your cartridge if you will have to get a new one in the US will cost + - $ 200

Welcome to the forum and yes peace

    Re: Beogram 1602 INFO

The Beogram 1602 is as far as I know a North American version of a Beogram 1902. It's a very fine linear tracking turntable and I like the simplicity compared to the B&O tangential decks. Well-tracking and a good cartridge selection which is easy to find cheap in good condition.
