BM5000 would be a knockout. I have a Beolink 7000 on a stand next to the Beolit 12

Testing Beotime next. I have to get out the Beowatch and try that too!

Beotime works as a remote for Beolit 12.

And don't forget the keyring !!!

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I saw the The Beolit 12 today. It was smaller in real life than I thought and the sound was quite impressive. But I still don´t think it´s a product for me. But B&O will probably sell a lot of them. The few the local B&O dealer got is already sold out.

Do you mean it can wake up a Beoplayer radio station with the iphone plug on it with a timer set ?

Or is it just matter of volume control ? Because all A/V volume control function implemented in a B&O remote device should work (Beo4, BeolinkX000, Beo5, Beo6, Beocom, ...)

With the keyring, I assume the only function to work will be switch off.

    Hi,

It is just a volume control and the sleep timer.  I assume you are correct about the keyring.  It is probably power off only.  I am using the Beolit 12 in wireless mode only but will try a direct ethernet connection.  I don't expect results to change except maybe the Beolit 12 will be on the network directly and will not have to do the wireless connection process.

I was also able to to do volume control with a Becocom 2.

What about track forward & back?

What about track forward & back?

No.  You have to do that from the iPhone, iPad, or iTunes.

Most of the B&O remotes appear to be limited to volume control and off.  This is actually fine with me.  I can continue to use the iPad for reading and change volume with the Beo4.

It might just be whatever app you're listening to music from.  On Spotify, the Beo4, Beo6 and BeoSound 8 remote all seem to work with track forward/back.

I saw it live in the store today... Didn't have the opportunity to listen to it. It's nicely made, but I'm not overwhelmed with it's design. It might grow on me...

No, the design is so-so. Doesn't do it for me, nor does it put me off. I'm going to wait for the other colours before making a purchasing decision. The blue model with tan carrying handle looks better to me.

I think that might be the big winner. The dark grey model has sold well, but with the other color combinations listed on the boxes, many clients have indicated that they'd like to wait for another color, especially the blue. Who could have guessed? I thought the dark grey would be the superstar.

Stopped in a B and O store today. My girlfriend saw the Beolit 12 and liked the looks of it very much. She thought it would be perfect to take with her to exercise classes she teaches.
