    Beomaster 3500 lid

    Hi All

Just bought an old Beomaster 3500, checking ot out now, but can't figure out how to open the metal panel/lid over the controls, I had a Beomaster years ago and on that one you just touched the edge and it opened, have run my fingers in all the usual places here and it's not opening, have had a look at the 4500 manual online but it doesn't tell you there, can anyone help, thanks, P

    Re: Beomaster 3500 lid

On Beomaster 3500/4500 the grey/mirrored panel doesn't open. All audio controls are electronic and used with either remote or from the touch sensitive buttons on the glass panel. The Beocord and Beogram CD 3500/4500 have openable lids (motorized) with a touch-sensitive button marked "Load" on the glass panel.

The similarily shaped Beomaster 1900/2400 and Beomaster 2000/3000 (1980's versions) have openable lid (mechanical/manual).

Thank you very much for the response, thought I'd bought a duff unit there! Really excited about getting this all operational now, got a beogram 3500 cd and beo first task to figure out how to search/program in radio stations, I have a beolink 1000 remote with this does anyone know if it can be done using the remote, or how to do it, thanks again.
