Overture with integrated iPhone - thoughts

    Hi

This may have been covered before but came across a company which integrates iPhones and iPod touches into the BS Overture - website and photos here - http://beodesign.org/

    Thoughts - Frankenstein or innovation?

It was just under 900 euros for the conversion!

Yes €890 (just enquired) which does make it expensive. I had thought this was a great update to my long unused Overture and BL4000 but is it worth the cost of a new BS8?  Ageing Overture vs new BS8 - I think this conversion quote has just made me realise what good value the BS8 is and will order one this week.

Again my recommandation: SONOS and Napster (or similar) flatrate ... attached to the Ouverture - no need to get out of your chair to change the music, can be used with ipad or android phones as well.

Or plug in a interface to control your Iphone to your Ouverture (look at Revoxbeo). In this way the Ouverture stay in the original state.

I didn't understand the "not for profit organisation" bit.

    ...

Definitely don't get it now ! Laughing
