What is best for my Beovision 1

I just need some guidance before I enter the sad process of selling my much loved Beovision 1. It is an  LS type 8653 finished in green.  I bought it in 2003 just after B&O stopped production of the colours and my dealer managed to track down a green one in the factory. Originally it had a wall stand but several year later when I wanted a floor stand, it too was out of production.  However my friendly B&O dealer put out the word and after several months one turned up.  The dilemma now is: Do I sell the beovision, its low floor stand and Beo4 separately or the whole package as one?  I tend to favour the latter, but there may be people out there in the B&O community needing just the floor stand or Beo4 and I wouldn't want to deny them the opportunity to purchase.  I know how frustrating it is trying to buy discountinued items. Does anyone have an opinion on how to sell?

The remote isn't an issue - easyily bought/sold..... but I would be very careful about selling the stand on its own unless you have already sold the TV.

There may well be bv1 owners looking for a floor stand, maybe instead of a wall bracket - but that would leave you with a tv that cannot be used unless any potential buyer also finds a stand....which, as you wrote, are long gone from the dealers.

I would sell the TV and stand as a pair - particulalry if you list on ebay.  If a buyer already has a stand/wall bracket/cabinet, they could always sell the spare on....but don't end up selling a stand for £50 s so, and getting stuck with the TV !!!

Your BV1, being green, is not going to be easy to sell, virtually impossible without the stand and remote.

Don't expect a lot of money, a few cups of coffee is what you'll get for the TV I'm afraid. CRT's are cold. Icecold.

    I would save it.

Thanks for replies, very much appreciated. IF I sell, I shall separate the Beo4, but at the moment when I see the BV1 I loose the heart to sell it!

Of course, it's up to you but the BV1 is virtually worthless without the remote!
