    BV8-40 as computer monitor

Just wondering what do people think about using a BV8-40 as a computer monitor.

I have always been underwhelmed in the past using TV screens as computer monitor because most monitors these days have higher resolution but I'm just wondering if the resolution difference is going to be noticable between the full HD BV8-40 vs let's say an Apple Imac?

The BV8 will not beat Imac.

From the sofa it may makes sence to use the BV8 as monitor, but not using it as a replacement of e.g. an iMac.

Then you will notice the lesser resolution in the BV8.

    Re: BV8-40 as computer monitor

I use my BV7-40 as a monitor as well as main TV....i have a MiniMac on the back of it....resolution is great, esp for youtube stuff, but mostly when i want to use internet i just find my macbook perfectly ok.

I think the BV8 would be fine as a monitor, but hell of an expensive monitor if thats all you do with it :)
