    Beautiful to my eyes!

And with a price that is just right above the price for the BV4-50 I think it could become a succes. For that little bit of extra money you get 15 inches more, a built ind centerspeaker and a picture i can imagine being among the best

Looking forward to see it for myself!

    Agree!

Looks stunning! Interesting that there is only one placement option. Think that´s a pretty new strategy for B&O tellys.

Not bad at all : focus on developing the TV, and a unique placement option. Then, STB brackets does the rest of the job, maybe with better cooperation from B&O. They really need to focus on developing good products that works. Once it's done, they can play with stands again.

OK, a bit sour here... Laughing

But to me B&O just took a big step in the wrong direction regarding its design.

I assume it doesnt need a seperate bs3?  so how does the television compare and does it have all the options available for surround etc?

    Re: BeoVision 12

I think you have to mount the BS3 elsewhere(on a shelf) For once I hope technology doesn't move as fast as it is, making it of a lessor quality panel compared to those already hoofing on the horizon. It looks very elegant, and for someone who has never liked plasma I think the latest generation of Neo Plasma have the best of both worlds. I think it will be the TV I covert most, but personally just couldn't gamble that much of a financial commitment on a device that might, and I hope it is might be out of date very shortly.

Things were so much easier 10-15 years ago. An avant please.

A Beovision 10-40 in black and red fret on order, Beo4, Beo6, many A8's, a pair of white and yellow Form 2's, Beocom 4, 28 inch Avant RF DVD, Apple TV and a wife that loves this stuff as much as i do!

    Re: BeoVision 12

I am very happy it uses the BS3 as a separate component. After trying to connect multiple HDMIs, ir Emitters, and powerlink cables to the back of my BV7-55, I would much like to be able to connect everything to a hidden BS3. Much easier to connect HDMIs and ir emitters to a BS 3 in the same cabinet as the BluRay, Apple TV etc.

Also, as technology progresses and/or changes it becomes possible to update either the screen or the processor, without having to do both as with BV7-55's built in BS3.

Do I understand this is to be priced ar about 11k without the bs3?

And.... Has there been discussion on whether the old bs3 can be updated to support the 3d business?

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

The glass display combined with the shiny surface of the speakers (incl BL12) will be a cleaning nightmare as undoubtably people will want to feel and touch it when they see it!
